Art Report - from HOD

This year has seen the successful first year of Rachael Fowler and the continued success of Daniel Seelen in his second year back with us. The Visual Art Department has continued to see great success from our learners particularly in NCEA assessments. We have been very privileged to see the rise in confidence of so many artists across all Art disciplines.

In Music we have seen a massive increase in the number of our young men performing to a high standard. The increase in the Music Departments footprint across the school has been dramatic and gratifying.

We continue to see the extension of drama across the school with a large number of actors regularly performing in productions and showcases such as the Variety Concert.

Overall 2018 saw the entire Art Department deliver young men with the courage to be Articulate, Creative and Artistic. They have all worked incredibly hard and should all be proud of their accomplishments.
