Today the St Thomas' Rugby Sevens team flew up to Auckland for the Condors National Sevens Tournament. The tournament has been going strong since 1991 and is the platform for Rugby Superstars. Many players go on from this tournament to All Black Sevens contracts, super rugby contracts and future All Blacks - most noteably Jonah Lomu, Christian Cullen, Tana Umaga, Kieran Read, Jack Goodhue, Damien McKenzie and Rekio Ioane. 

The team has been drawn in Pool B and will go up against Wellington Powerhouse, Scotts College (this game will be televised on Sky Sport). Also in their pool are Tamaki College and Aorere College from Auckland. This is the third time. Good luck men.
