Dear Parents/Caregivers and Whanau,

With our school year now underway I thought it timely to get the Retreat Dates out.

Retreat Day is a compulsory activity and is therefore paid as a part of your normal school fees. No extra money is required.

Retreats enable our students to engage in spiritual development and is a traditional part of life in a Catholic school.

This is a whole day event and students wear mufti on a Retreat day. Your son will require a pen, drink and food for the day.

The retreat will be run by the Mission Team (a branch of the Catholic Diocese of Christchurch) with support from your son’s Humanities teacher. Their focus is on Catholic teaching, fun and engaging activities.

The Retreat will take place in the Brother Dowling Centre, in the sports ground of our college.

Please refer to the 2021 Retreat Timetable to see when you son’s Retreat Day will occur. You will receive a reminder notification a week prior to your son’s Retreat date.
