Attitude to Learning Grades

Brad Milne —

Next Friday 21st February will see the commencement of the first Attitude to Learning grades to be published this year. These grades, published every two weeks, reflect your son’s ability to demonstrate the Key Competencies of the New Zealand Curriculum;

  • Managing Self
  • Participating and Contributing
  • Relating to Others
  • Thinking
  • Understanding Language, Symbols and Texts

Each of you son's subject teachers will provide a grade, out of 5, to reflect this and will comment 3 times per term on your son's learning. Throughout the year you will be provided with formative and up to date information on your son's learning through this process, rather than only receiving information mid and end of year.

To view the Attitude to Learning information, you can access it through the EDGE mobile app or logging on to the EDGE website beginning next Friday.

If you have any concerns or queries, your first point of contact is your son's mentor teacher.
