On Thursday our school community received a visit from members of the Toa Samoa rugby league team who are here in Christchurch to play the Canterbury Bulls as a warm up game before they meet Fiji Bati in their international fixture next week in Auckland. It was a great experience for our Pasifika and rugby league students to rub shoulders with some of their sporting idols and ask them questions about their journey to being a professional sportsman. 

At Nga Puna Wai sports park we had STC old boy James Baxendale lining up with current Year 13 student Caius Fa'atili to face off against Toa in a historical clash for our region.
