It’s been a great month for STCC and SVdP!

In Special Character Week we raised $2741.40 and donated 732 pieces of clothing to the new Hornby SVdP shop.

Pictured here are Mike Daly (Christchurch President for SVdP) and Clodagh Ward (Youth Coordinator for SVdP) with Alfred Esau and Christian McCoy from the 12 Justice and Peace class.

We also joined the SVdP Commissioning Mass and were badged on behalf of the whole school in recognition of our efforts to live the Gospel message of social justice.

To learn more about social justice, ask your RE teacher or get involved with Mr Kennedy, Mr Taylor and Mr Leader. The College offers specialised courses at Year 11 (Conscience and Liberation) and Year 12 (Justice and Peace) to students who want to extend their understanding of an educated heart and an educated mind.
