This crew was always “connected” … being in the computer room was dangerous for me when I wanted to get them off their devices. Still we had some good BBQs through the year, a chess tournament, sporting events vs other mentoring groups, a student teacher who taught us a “pushing-balance” game from japan, we discussed the meaning of life often enough, Zac Busson got Facebook, and we finished off the year with regular bowls training for the juniors at Middlepark Resthome.

One highlight was eating the Samoan food created by Enoka and his brother – we were dubious at first and then it was a seconds and thirds feeding frenzy...beautiful.

Another special occasion was creating a competition of newspaper clothes. Seen here are our newest models for the runway: Sam Brenmuhl and Quinn Hanham.

We farewell only one of our fold and that is Callum Pollard who is heading into an apprenticeship for building. Roll on 2016
