Joyce - JOAA
JOAA EOY Report 2015
JOAA is a mentoring group run by the big man himself Mr Andrew Auimatagi. 2015 has seen our form class being the smallest in the whole school but the smaller the form class the better. We've had a big year in 2015, often going off site to have fun and bond together as a form class, further strengthening that brotherhood within the college and especially our form class. Over the year we've visited the Riccarton Library several times, visited the driving range where Mr Auimatagi completely showed us all up, competed in several inter form class challenges with JOSM and in our last mentoring session went ten pin bowling, where the youngest member of our class Tyler completed destroyed us all.
JOAA is full of so many talented boys. Just to name a few we have William Beattie, an extremely talented, determined and hardworking rower; Liam Robinson who has worked extremely hard this year to get Joyce House Leader for 2016 and Ryan Bain-Butler who is very skilled at making videos which are uploaded to Facebook and YouTube. Everyone is talented in their own ways as you can tell above.
It's been a very tough year for some boys in JOAA, with some losing family and friends, injuries and more. But what really shows about our form class is that we all bounce back. No matter what pushes us down we always get back up, and that's arguably the best thing about our incredible JOAA family.
