This week 27 year 7 and 8 students travelled to Ashburton to compete in the Canterbury Intermediate Athletic Championships and St Thomas' ended the day with some excellent results. Overall a great effort from our young men in a competitive environment and extremely high temperatures. St Thomas' key placings from the day included

2nd placing. 800 M run - Alex McCorkindale

3rd placing. 1500 M run – Alex McCorkindale

2nd placing. 4 x 100 M Relay – Tom Hart, Tevita Faitotonu, Tiaan Greig, Maretino Kaloudau.

3rd placing. 60 M Run - Maretino Kaloudau.

2nd placing. 8 x 50 M Relay – Seth Collins Craig, Jack Coulthard, Dylan Barbour Ryan, Finley Esera, Daniel Metherell, Jacob Nyman, Kees Greig and Josh Price.
