Year 10 NZQA Exams
Your Year 10 son is now logged on to NZQA.
In June, your son will take part in the NEW way of gaining literacy and numeracy via a series of THREE exams held here in the school hall.
Tuesday June 13th – Reading EXAM – 5 credits
Wednesday June 14th – Numeracy – 10 credits
He will need an actual calculator for this – he cannot use his phone or laptop for this – any issues, please email me.
Thursday June 15th – Writing – 5 credits
This is excellent practice for them in their journey with NZQA. These credits will also count towards their final total for NCEA Level One.
What I would like you to do is to ask your son to show you the following:
1. Show me how you log into NZQA?
2. Show me what the Numeracy Past Paper for 2022 looks like?
3. Show me the Literacy Reading and Literacy Writing as well.
If your son cannot show you these things send him back to me.
If you are going to be absent on any day please let me know too.
