Choir

This year, STC acquired a new vocal teacher and she has made herself at home in the Music Department. Sacha Van Beek comes to us with many years of singing experience here and abroad. 

We have immediately seen the impact of her guidance and tuition. The School choir has moved from strength to strength and it revolves around a core group of dedicated students whose soulful harmonies blend effortlessly to create a unique sound. This group of young men have really captured the essence of our vision for music at STC and along the way they have produced some moving performances. 

The choir has been lead by Josh and Elisara Vaifale – Josh being the only year 13 in the group. Most of the boys will be retained for 2019 and beyond as there is a core group of year 10’s involved in the Choir. It will be an exciting prospect as this group mature and develop their vocal skills.
