Year 9 selected science boys started the year by completing the paper bridge challenge.

The boys were given 4 pieces of A4 paper and 15cm of sellotape and a pair of scissors. 

The challenge was to build a bridge that could support 50g and bridge the largest gap. 

The winners made a bridge 3.4 m long.

A great start to stem /engineering principles and problems solving.
