Successful Mufti Day benefits the Christchurch City Mission.

Year 12 Justice is an optional class that merges RE, Classics, History and Social Studies to allow investigation into how social systems, governments and individuals are affected by injustice and war. We also try to be justice makers through Christian agencies such as Caritas, the Edmund Rice Network and the Christchurch City Mission.

We ran a mufti day to gather food and money for the Christchurch City Mission. We gathered over 500 cans of food and over $200 that we will personally deliver when we participate in the Edmund Rice Street Retreat later in the year. Thanks to all the students who got on board and recognised the mufti day as a way to be a man of justice.
