Sunday 1st November saw our boys compete in the regional competition at Kart Sport Canterbury in Halswell.

The boys built and raced an electric scooter. They raced it over 3 events . A drag race for speed, a gymkhana for agility and maneuverability, and an endurance economy event.

The vehicle performed well in all areas but didn’t mange to take away any top awards.

This is the 4th year that STC has participated, and we continue to gain experience and learn lots of life lessons and problem solving skills.

A huge thanks to the team, Mr Shane Reddy for the technical expertise, and to Frank and Christina Weerts and Nigel Thompson for continued support, encouragement and patience of our boys in this activity. We will be back.
