Big congratulations to Wilson Leala, Year 7 - he is a student recipient of the BLAKE Young Leader Award 2020 supported/presented by Westpac Bank for displaying great leadership qualities. Wilson worked hard and took on a number of extra responsibilities last year at Wigram Primary School, including Peer Mediator, Road Patroller, Skyhawks House Leader, Sports Mentor and BBQ duties. He was in Kapa Haka performance group as well. He is a lover of rich vocabulary and his teachers said he completed all tasks to a high standard. His sister also received an award, making it an extra special family occasion.
