Ramsay Sula (L) and Afa Apulu (R) by Lynley Gibson

Toloa STEAM Scholarships

These nationwide scholarships are awarded by the Ministry of Pacific Peoples (MPP) to secondary students to help the Ministry in achieving its goal of helping Pacific students thrive in STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering Arts and Maths. The Toloa Secondary School Scholarships cover school fees and equipment for one year to the maximum of $2000.

Three students from St Thomas’ have been awarded the scholarship this year- Sione Baker (Y11), Afa Apulu (Y10) and Ramsay Sula (Y10). It is an incredible honour to see three students from our school recognised among the talented pool of Pasifika youth in Aotearoa and the Science department is very proud of these young men. Well done to the boys and their families.
