Congratulations Daniel!

With an outstanding time of 19:01.55, Year 13 student, Daniel Prescott has taken out the National Cross Country Championship in the 6km Senior Boys category!

Daniel ran an awesome race, running in the leading group for the majority of the race and pulling away at the right time to get in a great position, well done!

Earlier this week, Daniel has been selected in the NZSSAA Cross Country Team to travel to Australia in August, for the Australian Schools Cross Country Championships.

We are so proud of you Dan, and what you have achieved in athletics over a number of years here at the college! This is a truly amazing result, well deserved after all your hard work. A true show of Manawa!
