Polyfest was something that our boys had been looking forward to since the start of the school year. New and current students were excited about the journey leading up to Polyfest day and when it was time for them to hit the stage on the 16th March, the boys gave it their all and left the crowd speechless. Proud parents, families and teachers watched as the boys performed their set to the extent where it even became quite emotional for many to watch. The impact the boys had on the crowd was sensational and it was definitely one to remember. Powerful messages were displayed in the performance and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our tutors, notably Reupena Fofoa, staff and families.

The thousands in attendance at the annual event, were continuously entertained by 23 Canterbury secondary schools throughout the day. Each school proudly displaying Pasifika and Polynesian cultures through song and dance.

Our 93 strong St Thomas crew was the biggest, loudest and proudest group on the day. We had the honor of closing the event, the late stayers were not disappointed. Absolutely proud of all our students who took the stage.
