Covid 19 saw the cancellation of the Canterbury 9s and the NZSSRL Tournament, however in September St Thomas staff were able to organise junior and Senior Canterbury League Tournaments.
Our sides took a clean sweep, and were undefeated in both grades, with our Juniors defeating Hornby and Haeata, and our Seniors defeating Hornby, Haeata and Christchurch Boys High.
At the year 7&8 Rugby League Tournament, our team played 8 games winning 6 losing 1 and drawing with the eventual winner, Te Waka Unua, and placed 3rd.
Highlights of the year were old boy Jordan Riki made his NRL debut, and Felix Faatili gaining selection in the NZ 16s side for the second year in a row.Deputy Principal Andrew Auimatagi gaining the highest coaching position available within New Zealand, being appointed New Zealand Residents coach
