THANK YOU stampede Volunteers & our FOSB team

Friends of Stanley Bay —

70 fabulous volunteers gave their time and expertise to make this event possible.

You baked, registered entrants, marshalled obstacles, dug mounds of mud, organised food, put up gazebos, told us what to do and where to be, made signs, gave out prizes and sorted bags!  It was truly a privilege working with such a dedicated group of parents to bring this to life.

A particular shout-out to the legendary team of parents who helped in the weekend before the event, prepped on Saturday and then set up the course from 6am on Sunday and went through until the very end - Scott, Hamish, Josh, Angus, Tige and Colin.  Colin is even heard to have still been cleaning up at 6pm that night and goes down as an absolute Stampede legend.

Thank you fo the FOSB team for their incredible effort and enthusiasm - Rachel, Cath, Emma, Victoria, Liz, Andy and Mika.

Also a big thanks to our spirited team of teachers for being such good sports and submersing themselves (literally!) in the mud pit.

Finally, the whole event would not have been possible without the NZ Navy and Paula and Greg.  Thanks for making the idea come to life!

To everyone who gave up their time ... thank you ... the success of the event is thanks to you.
