On Wednesday, Stanley Bay had two new Principals for the day...Saoirse and Niamh Harrington. What a day they had finding out what exactly what a Principal really gets up to!?!

They discovered that principals eat doughnuts and pizza, swim in the pools and often have a nap after lunch!

As part of their day Principal Saoirse and her Deputy Principals (Lucia, Emily, Ema, Peyton) have written an article for this weeks news bulletin. 

Principal Saoirse's Message

"At the weekend, some people have been  doing silly things like climbing on the roof and shade sail above the concrete. Hope you watch your kids. Merry Xmas"

Deputy Principal Abigail

Tracey Ryan won a bet at quiz night to make her two children Niamh and Saoirse become Principals of the day and Saoirse was aloud to pick some other people to be Deputy Principals and she picked me (Abigail) Emily Peyton ema and Lucia. When the bell rang for school we all went to the swimming pool and went swimming, after swimming we played on the senior deck and played then the bell went for morning tea. After morning tea we made our badges to show that we were Deputy Principal able and for Saoirse Principal, then we put them on and then it was lunchtime, we played all around the school after lunch we played in the Principals office.

Deputy Principal Emily

Tracey Ryan (Saoirse and Niamh's mum) won a bet on quiz night. The prize was to have her children be the principal of the day. Saoirse and Niamh got to choose five friends to be deputy principal and do everything with her. Saoirse chose Emily, Ema, Lucia, Peyton, and Abi. Niamh picked Isla, Emmy, Lucie, holly, Ella, Ayla, Georgia, and Tessa. We got pizza and doughnuts. Saoirse and her friends made badges.

Deputy Principal Peyton

What happened today...I was a deputy principal and it was so fun (Tracey Ryan won a bet so we could be a deputy principal thank you Tracey) and for her lovely children. 

Deputy Principal Ema 

Tracey Ryan won a bet at quiz night so Saoirse and Niamh are principals for today.  So in the morning, we got to go to the pool then we had donuts for morning tea after morning tea we made badges that said Deputy Principal and Principal for lunch we had pizza yum!

Deputy Principal Lucia 

Tracey Ryan won a bet, to make her kids principal’s for the day and Saoirse chose me and some of my friends. So now I’m a Deputy Principal... we got pizza, there is going to be a green team harvest and there is going to be a Christmas assembly! Cool right!

Saoirse and Niamh did a great job of keeping the school running and there was no doubt about who was in charge!
