The year 4 team (photo above) celebrated winning the title at the Junior Netties competition at Westlake girls on Saturday 19 August.

They have worked hard all season shooting a total of 167 goals and only conceding 29 over the 12 week competition. From these numbers it’s evident they are good at shooting but also shows they have developed a very strong defense game. 

The last two games illustrated how far they have come after beating two teams who they had previously lost and drawn against. 

They beat Sunnybrae 12 – 4 and Hauraki 15 – 2. Both incredible results. 

It’s been lovely watching them bond as a team, always congratulating each other on their successes.
