Today we had a surprise visit from the air support 'Eagle' unit of the NZ police.

The Eagle is a police observation platform to provide a vantage point to coordinate ground units. It is often used to find persons of interest and support police to manoeuvre into position to best deal with an incident. Luckily, today was a social visit!

A huge thank you to Mr Offner and his contacts in the New Zealand Police; the children were delighted to be in such proximity to one of only three eagle helicopter that operates in New Zealand.
