Dear Parents and Caregivers,

The board has resolved to hold a by-election to appoint two parent representatives to the board positions vacated by resignations at the start of term 1. The returning officer, Rachael Hamilton, has sent an email to all parents on March 12 calling for nominations which are due by 2 April 2021. If there are more than two nominations voting will start on 9 April and end on 7 May 2021.

We encourage nominations from anyone interested in supporting the school by joining the board, whether parents of students currently at the school or members of the wider community. No previous board experience is necessary and although the current board would benefit from experience in property management and/or HR management, this is by no means required.

As this election falls part way through our three-yearly election cycle, it is hoped that the new board members can stand for re-election, scheduled for mid-2022, to promote a degree of board continuity.
