On Thursday 6 teams from year 3-6 entered the Rippa Rugby Tournament, held at Kaipatiki Park in Glenfield.

This was a different venue to our usual one because of COVID all the modules joined together and we got to play different schools. It started with a bit of stress as the second bus arrived 45 minutes late, but once we were there, the weather was warm and sunny and everything went to plan. 

Each team played 3 matches but no results were taken as it was a fun day. However, SBS did extremely well, displaying speed and skills across the teams and outstanding sportsmanship. For some children, this was their first experience at rippa and they absolutely loved it - some girls even saying they liked it was better than netball!
