To ignite this term's art inquiry Stanley Bay School had an Express Yourself Day!

Children were encouraged to be creative and think about what they enjoy and what makes them unique, then come to school dressed to represent this. 

We saw tri-athletes, artists, sports players, ballet dancers, astronauts and many more wonderful ideas! 

The children are really excited to learn more about the arts and participate in some creative projects throughout the term. 

I express myself by doing hip hop because I love dancing.  Also, I express myself with arts and crafts. That's when I'm in creative mode. The last thing I made was a solar system out of fabric. - Hanalei

I express myself by doing acro and doing soccer. I express myself when I do jiu-jitsu and keas. - Emma

I express myself by playing football. I like kicking with the ball and I like kicking up. I make stuff with my dad and I made a boat and it actually floats. - Max
