As a result of only four parents standing at the recent election, there is a casual vacancy on the board of trustees for a further parent representative.

The board has resolved under section 105 of the Education Act 1989 to fill the vacancy by selection and formal notice of this resolution will be given in the Flagstaff on 28 June. 

The board is required to fill the casual vacancy by 6 September unless by 26 July a total of at least 10% of the people entitled to vote in an election for trustees advises the board, in writing, that they wish the vacancy to be filled by an election. The board welcomes expressions of interest from all parents.
