We are excited to announce that we have managed to organise a Devonport Hockey Competition starting this coming season.

• The competitions will run on Monday evenings with a competition start date of Monday, 22 May (To run consecutively for 5 weeks in Term 2 and 5 weeks in Term 3).
•  Games will be played on the astro turfs available across the local schools.
• The competition (dependent upon entries) will be: Year 1/2 (4 aside), Year 3/4 (6 aside), Year 5/6 (6 aside).
• All teams will play in an Open/Mixed grade for this year which will help us to grow hockey in the area with a hope to build the competition for coming years.
• Information regarding fees will be coming out soon.
• We plan to run a few pre-competition sessions in weeks 2-4 of Term 2 here at Stanley Bay School. Keep a look out for more information on this.

• All players must have mouthguards and shin pads to play. Also long socks recommended to tuck shin pads into. The school has a selection of hockey sticks that can be borrowed.

Please indicate on this form if you would like your child to take part. This will give an indication of how many teams the school can enter.
