During these school holidays, Auckland Transport wants to hear from tamariki about what safe roads look like to them.

We’re asking kids to express to us what their neighbourhoods would look like if everyone could travel safely on roads and footpaths. 

The competition is running for the full course of the April school holidays and is open to children from 5 to 13 years old. 

The top two entries will receive a brand new bike and helmet from Evo Cycles, with the top 15 entries featuring in AT’s upcoming safe speeds publications. 

It’s not only a way for tamariki to get creative, but it’s also an important insight for AT to understand what road safety means to the youngest members of our communities, so we can carry this knowledge with us as we work to make Auckland’s roads safer for all of us.
