Russell Street is a busy area at drop off and pick up times and can create safety issues for our children.

Parking 

A reminder that when dropping off and picking up children, parking on the yellow dotted lines either side of the crossing is not permitted. Parking in this area poses a safety risk to the Year 6 road patrollers and families crossing the road. 

In recent weeks a few neighbours have also been prevented from leaving their property by school traffic blocking driveways. When visiting the school please respect our neighbours and park in the designated areas. 

Bike Safety 

Please remind your children that they are not permitted to ride their bikes or scooters in the grounds during school hours. If your child bikes or scoots to school we request that when they arrive at school they get off their bikes/scooters and push them to the bike racks. 

Children have been reminded of this safety rule and we would appreciate it if you could reinforce this at home.
