What is National Volunteer Week?

National Volunteer Week is a week of celebrations to show appreciation to all the amazing volunteers who enrich Aotearoa New Zealand. Volunteering is part of New Zealand’s culture, as it’s a positive way to contribute to society by giving your time and skills to help other people.

We are so lucky at Stanley Bay School to have such amazing parents and extended whānau who volunteer their time to help in our school.

So thank you to our sports coaches and managers, our drivers, our fundraisers, our camp helpers and our classroom helpers.
