Last week saw the inaugural trip of the Patuone Walking School Bus.

The first bus had about 10 passengers and was ably driven by Walking School Bus Coordinator, Narly Kalupahana. Passengers ranged from Y0 to Y6 and arrived at school a little ahead of schedule. 

The children thoroughly enjoyed the walk to school and parents seemed especially happy to be able to wave the children off to school and return to the warmth of indoors!
