The SBS Tacos and Pickles take on the very best at North Shore competition.

On Friday 6 November, a talented team of Y6 boys competed in the EPRO 8 semi-finals at Takapuna Normal Intermediate School. The boys had to choose from four challenges, which ended with them selecting to make a motorised shopping trolley. The trolley had to move down aisles, be controlled by a blindfolded person and avoid bumping into obstacles. 

The teams had 2.5 hours to make their creation and ended up with a fully working, remote controlled shopping trolley. The boys had a blast working as a team and enjoyed the opportunity to compete against the other eleven teams. The Tacos and Pickles ended up tying for seventh and want to thank Emma Kandziora for assisting and transporting the team on the day.
