Last Thursday was Ropu Pihinga's Dragon's Den.

Our inquiry this term has been addressing this question: you are an inventor who is excited about the future. Identify a problem in society and create a prototype to show how you will address this problem and how your invention will be made. It was an amazing day. Lance, Mrs Greig and Steve (a Takapuna Grammar teacher!) were the judges. They were SO impressed by all the inventions and prototypes. Everyone worked so hard and had such great inventions. Well done to everyone, and to the brave students who went into the Dragon's Den today - it is not easy to speak in front of everyone. Well done to Poppy, Stryder and Jack who were our top three contestants!
