Yr 0-2 Camp Day

Emma Gauntlett —

Ropu Kakano had a fantastic Camp Fun Day. We loved spending time in the tents with our friends, telling stories and playing with our toys.

There were some fun activities to do with our classes like team challenges, a bug scavenger hunt, tug of war and nature sketching. We made a huge 'campfire' and got to have some delicious s'mores after lunch. In the afternoon we had a big waterslide and some time in the pool to cool off. The junior teachers were so impressed with the awesome attitude that all the children showed throughout the day. We saw lots of imagination, problem-solving, persevering and kindness.

Josephine: I liked being in the tent with Elise. We liked to play with my Rainbowcorn. I liked to play soccer.

Carter: I liked going in the sleeping bag.

Maddy: I liked the waterslide.

Eva: We had camp day last week. I loved all of it and I brought my favourite toy. The smores were stretchy and sticky.

A huge thank you to all the parents who helped to make this day possible by supplying tents and helping to set up and pack down.
