On the last day of term 3, two teams of four students (Max, Noah, Natalie, Ethan, Hayden, George, Lucas & Marley) from Stanley Bay School went to the EPro8 science and technology competition. Lucas K has written a short piece about the challenge.

Last term we had the EPro8 challenge. We had to make a 1.8m tall building with a working lift inside that carried a mannequin. I enjoyed building the structure of the building and making the lift. The hardest part was probably completing it in time. Also working in a team was a bit harder than working independently because you had to share ideas and listen to other people's opinions. I would like to do it next year.
