On Wednesday the juniors celebrated one hundred days at school which we have counted from the beginning of the year.

We count the day each morning as part of our calendar maths, which includes representing the number in different ways. This could include; writing the number of the day on a place value house, crossing off the numbers on a hundred's chart, showing with bundles of iceblock sticks in tens and ones, and counting from one up to the number. To celebrate, we had a pajama day and we participated in a variety of "100 day" themed activities throughout the day. It was a very exciting day for our junior children!
