At Stanley Bay we encourage a 'can do' attitude, sometimes where our routines are out of kilter we can lose the drive to give it a go. As part of our focus on student wellbeing, we are aiming to provide an environment where students once again feel comfortable to take learning risks.

A number of our students really enjoy getting involved in trampolining, but sadly our school trampoline is a little tired.

Our junior classes have been learning for some time now about the importance of handwashing, and how it prevents themselves as well as others from becoming sick.

As we returned to school at Level 2, it has been a conscious action to maximise your childs time with the teacher.

Since returning to school, we have been focusing on the school value of resilience and what it 'looks like' in all aspects of school life. In child speak it is the ability to bounce back like a rubber ball... again and again, and not give up.

Staying creative is tough even at the best of times, but especially tough after a few weeks in lockdown. So to ignite inspiration Rm 9 & 10, on a beautiful sunny winters day, went for a walk to Stanley Bay Beach.

As the school pool season is now over (Friday 16 April), we would appreciate the return of the school pool keys. If you haven't already done so, please bring your pool key into the office, clearly labelled with your child's name (to identify in Kindo) so that we may process the refund. The PhotoLife shootkeys have arrived at school and have of been distributed to students via their class teachers. The shoot keys enable Parents/ Caregivers to place orders online for student, sibling and class photos.
