Dunedin Tertiary Open Day
As the virtual open day is set to run at the same time as St Hilda's Open Evening, current Year 13 students will have the opportunity to attend the on campus open day events. Timetabled classes will not take place for Year 13 students on this day, allowing them the opportunity to explore the Dunedin tertiary campuses.
Monday 10 August 2020, 9:00am–3:30pm
On-Campus Open Day is your opportunity to come down to Dunedin, check out the University, explore Otago Polytech and to discover for yourself what life is like as a student in Dunedin:
- Take a campus tour
- Tour our residential colleges
- Check out presentations about a wide range of subjects offered at Otago
- Talk with staff from across the University at the Expo

AUT Art and Design Information Day - Online Event
This is an event designed for students who intend to apply for Art and Design’s undergraduate programmes, allowing your students to get all the information they need from the comfort of their home.
There will be two sessions throughout the day, with options specific to each major to choose from. Lecturers will give general information about the courses and will also advise on how to submit an electronic portfolio.
This event is for anybody interested in a Bachelor of Visual Arts which has pathways in Photography, Paint/Print and Sculpture, or our Bachelor of Design with majors in Communication Design, Interaction Design, Digital Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or Spatial Design. It's also an opportunity to find out more about our interdisciplinary minors.

University of Auckland Engineering Faculty for Enginuity Day 2020
Thursday 16 July 8am - 4pm
For all Year 13 female high school students.
Enginuity is a once-a-year opportunity for high school girls to explore the possibility of a career as an engineer during a day of activities at the University of Auckland’s Faculty of Engineering.
Various workshop activities over the day will demonstrate the creativity and problem-solving processes engineers use in real life while giving students an opportunity to try engineering hands-on. Professional engineers, lecturers and current students will be there talk to students about engineering careers and what it’s like to study here at the University of Auckland.
*This event is intended for all year 13 high school students who self-identify as female.
