Swim for a Cure update

Isla Huffadine —

Many of you will remember in 2020 Meg McLaughlan was preparing to embark on a 77km swim, around Lake Wanaka and Hawea. She was fundraising for the Otago Southland branch of the Cancer Society, aiding their life-saving research, patient care and support.

On the 1st of January 2021, Meg completed her 6 days of swimming - a total of 77km. She was faced with rough waters and some colder temperatures, persevering to finish within her goal time. At this stage her 'givealittle' page has reached over $6300!

This is an incredible effort and we are extremely proud of her efforts! If you would like to donate, please follow the link here. Well done Meg ðŸ˜€
