CASE Junior Space School
St Hilda’s Collegiate has the opportunity to participate in the CASE Space School Expedition in July 2024. All St Hilda’s students in Years 8, 9 and 10 next year are invited to join CASE Junior Space School and visit NASA in the USA!
The space industry is experiencing a global boom and STEAM opportunities are growing all around the world. We believe the space industry is the most stimulating environment to showcase the impact of STEAM in our world and inspire students in the pursuit of STEAM studies.
We are partnering with the California Association for STEAM Education (CASE) and Actura to offer students a unique opportunity to participate in this exceptional STEAM learning experience. Our students will:
· Visit NASA, Houston to discover awesome technologies with industry experts
· Participate in thrilling astronaut training and mission simulations at US Space and Rocket Center
· Perform cellular analysis and design a space glove to understand the human body in space
· Engage with inspirational space industry guest speakers
· Enjoy a range of fun cultural events and activities
This is an opportunity for all students to learn beyond the classroom and be inspired by the opportunities that lie ahead.
