St Hilda's Parents & Friends Association
End of year Report, 2023
The PFA is a great group of parents who help organise school community events and raise funds that go directly to supporting the school. This year some things the PFA have financially supported include $10,000 towards an art installation, $5000 to support the school production and contributions to the Library, Prize Giving and the school Formal. The PFA is also pleased to support students representing the school at sporting and cultural events. This year the PFA has approved Sports and Cultural funding requests to the value of $5,500.
The St Hilda’s PFA was pleased to once again support the recent Carol Service by providing some delicious Christmas cake to share afterwards. This was a great community event and it was lovely to see so many people attending. We were also pleased to help with the Year 13 Leavers' function. The PFA would like to take this opportunity to wish all the Year 13 leavers the very best for their future endeavours. We look forward to welcoming you back to St Hilda's at up-coming community events.
We would once again like to thank Roberta Lawrence who stepped down as President of PFA at the AGM this year. Roberta joined the PFA in 2019 and has been a valuable member since. We would like to thank Roberta for her incredible contribution to our school and wider community.
As a PFA we are always looking for new members. It is a very relaxed committee group. We meet once a month, on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the school Library and the group is open to all parents and caregivers. We would love to see some new members come along next year. It is a great way to get to know other parents and be more involved in what is happening around the school.
