Otago Polytechnic annually offers recognition awards for Pacific Island High School students, one from Years 9 & 10 and one from Years 11-13 who have demonstrated achievement in one or more of academic, sport, culture or service and/or leadership potential.

Aya Moetaua ( Year 10) and Charlotte Va’afusuaga ( Year 11) were our St HiIda’s nominees.

The evening also awards scholarships to Year 13's who are going on to tertiary study or are continuing their tertiary study. It was a lively, heartwarming and entertaining evening, ending with some delicious kai.
