St Hilda's Referees

This year, we tried to encourage students to develop their skills as a school referee.  Sport can not be played without people picking up a whistle and officiating the game.  It is an incredibly hard role and takes a lot of courage to put yourself into that position.  But we need more willingness across all sports.  Thank you to these students that have umpired weekly and also attended courses and/or exchanges.

Netball: Kerah Alexander, Emily Cleghorn, Madison Cummings, Sophie Cameron, Grace McAuley, Sami Isaacs, Omega Sun

Hockey: Billie Crowe, Charlotte Paterson, Anna McClean

Student achievements:

Golf: Congratulations to Anahera Koni who has been selected to represent Otago at the Otago Women's Salisbury Cup.

Surf Lifesaving: Well done to Victoria and Charlotte Aburn who had fantastic results at the recent South Island Surf Lifesaving Pool Championships. Charlotte came away with four firsts, one second and one third placing.  Victoria with three firsts and one second placing.

Touch: The following students have been named in the U14 Touch Squad:

Freya Whiteside, Isabella McEntyre, Māia Koni, Olivia Williams
