Tolcarne News
A shorter week was welcomed by all, with excitement for a long weekend! The Country Visits Team have been very busy, heading around the area to visit prospective families. Year 10 boarders, Meg Miller and Esther Whiteside did a fantastic job, sharing their first-hand experience of boarding at St Hilda's! We are already looking forward to seeing more faces at our Boarders Open Day - Thursday May 19th.
Take a look below to see the video created for Country Visits. Hopefully this provides an insight into what a typical day as a Tolcarne student can look like. Xanthe and Lucy are your hosts - so follow along with them!
I was very jealous to see what Barb whipped up for breakfast this week... Look at her newest flavour options at 'Barbs Bagel Bar'! Salmon and cream cheese, Nutella and banana and even cream cheese with jam - yum 😛
The juniors have been busy decorating their pinboards and thinking of ideas for the 'do up your door night' before Open Day. It seems as if competition is at an all time high this year, so we look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!
Mrs Rathbone is feeling better after having covid and is back on Monday. She is looking forward to seeing everyone again! I am also looking forward to that, it has been a very lonely few days - especially when you are used to seeing 160 students every day!
Our Pink Ribbon Breakfast is less than two weeks away, so make sure to grab as many pink clothes as you can if you head home this weekend! Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed... so great creative. We are looking forward to raising funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation and spreading awareness of the amazing work they do for so many loved ones ❤
If you would like to donate to our breakie, use this link to do so. Remember you will be able to guess how many jelly beans are in the jar (a photo of this will be available on our social media pages next week - so keep an eye out)!
Have a fantastic weekend everyone! Bring on Week 3 🤩
