Book Week Update

Week 3 was a big one for the Library! Book Week provided our school an opportunity to celebrate everything we love about books, and saw hundreds of students participating in activities each day. Amongst all the fun and games and prizes on offer, student and staff participation in Book Week proved that we are indeed a strong community of readers.

We were thrilled to be able to make three giveaways of University Book Shop vouchers over the course of the week. Congratulations to Elsie Barnett, Evie Lester and Cleo Black who can enjoy browsing the shelves in Dunedin’s most beautiful bookshop in search of their next read. 

A huge thank you to all those students and staff who participated throughout the week. Your involvement in this initiative generated conversation and injected enthusiasm into Library life. 

Book Week is great, but I challenge you to keep being reading role models every other week of the year too!
