Information Evenings and Virtual Career Events

Following on from the virtual events shared in last weeks newsletter, below are details on two further events being hosted for students and families in the coming weeks.

ARA VIRTUAL OPEN WEEK

This year, the mid-year open event from Monday 29 June - Friday 3 July will be a virtual experience featuring all the information students need to make sound decisions about their future.

Students can join subject-specific Zoom sessions, meet tutors online and ask them questions, check out loads of cool ‘students-in-action’ videos, find out about the comprehensive student support services and even take a virtual campus tour.

UNIVERSITY OF CANTERBURY ONLINE OPEN DAY

Thursday 9 July is a chance to virtually explore the campus online and learn about how they help students become graduates who are prepared to make a difference.

  • Attend webinar sessions to find out about their world-class degrees.
  • Visit departments, explore accommodation options and find out about student services in the Info Hub with staff.
  • Find out how to apply to UC and what scholarships and support are on offer.
  • Experience what life as a UC student is really like by visiting the UCSA booth and watching their "Life outside of lectures" webinar.

University of Otago Dunedin Information Evening

will be held on Thursday 2 July, in the St David 1 Lecture Theatre, University of Otago from 6:30-8pm. Prospective senior students and their parents and caregivers are invited to come along to hear about study options, scholarships, support services, accommodation options and much more. To accommodate audience number restrictions and comply with health and safety regulations, attendees must register their intention to attend.
