Anglican Family Care Street Appeal

On “Black Friday” last week, amidst the noisy and challenging road works on George Street, the Year 7 and 8 students supported Anglican Family Care with their annual street appeal. The students really enjoyed the experience. They met lots of people and had positive feedback from the public. They also saw the generosity of people as well as having some interesting encounters and learning more about human nature! They gained a fresh appreciation for AFC and how important their work is in our community. The students were pleased to hear just how much they had raised while having fun, and were happy that this would be going to support a good cause. Thanks to everyone involved in the logistics of this service morning!
