St Hilda's Parents & Friends Association Report

Roberta Lawrence —

During term two the PFA have supported the school community with donations to cover security for the School Formal, the purchasing of additional toasty machines for the Student Kitchen and approval of Sports & Cultural Funding requests to the value of $500. In addition, the PFA was keen to show a small token of appreciation to all the staff who have had a challenging term navigating COVID & Flu, in the form of café vouchers, for some down time over the long weekend.

The focus of PFA planning this term has been towards the Fundraising Gala to be held on Saturday the 6th of August. This is something new for us and replacing our bi-annual fair, thanks to everyone for support and tables are filling up fast, if you have not yet booked a table (or individual seats) you can do this via pfafundraiser@shcs.school.nz. We have some fabulous prizes lined up for both the silent auction and live auction on the night.

Term three will kick off with our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday the 27th of July in the St Hilda's school library, we welcome all members of the school community to join us.

6pm - Pre meeting Gathering with Guest Speaker

6.45pm - Annual General Meeting, followed by the monthly meeting

We are excited to announce that Olive Tabor, owner of Patti's & Cream (based in Dunedin since 2018) will be joining us before our AGM (at 6pm) to share her inspirational business story.
