Student Achievements
Rugby: Congratulations to Hannah Lithgow who has been selected into the New Zealand U18 Rugby team.

They achieved silver medals and a team trophy for being runners up in A grade. They were unbeaten in pool play, beat Nelson in the semi and faced Canterbury in a tough final. The girls should be really proud of their performance over the four days.

New Zealand National Ice Figure Skating Championships
Earlier in the year Arlea Lewis (Year 9) qualified to compete at the New Zealand National Ice Figure Skating Championships. Last week this competition was held at the Dunedin Ice Stadium. Arlea had a stellar skate to the music of the movie Coraline. Her performance contained two double jumps, two axels and she achieved Level 2 in both of her spins. Arlea won her grade and she is the 2023 Basic Novice Girls National Champion.
Congratulations Arlea.
